Welcome to Wool and Bear!
I'm Kim – the maker, tea-drinker, and proud Cornish lass behind Wool and Bear. I live in beautiful Cornwall with my husband, our baby girl Elowen, and our very fluffy (and very handsome) cat, Bear – the namesake of my shop!
I'm a stay-at-home mumma, and when I'm not chasing after little feet, I’m creating hand-knitted and crocheted baby blankets and snuggly treasures – each one made with love, care, and a sprinkle of Cornish magic.
My love for crafting started over 20 years ago when my mum taught me to knit. During the pandemic, I picked up a crochet hook and fell in love all over again. What began as a creative outlet has grown into a small business that brings me so much joy.
When I’m not crafting, you’ll find me sipping coffee by the sea or catching a few waves – always with a project (and a slice of gluten-free cake) close by.
As a lifelong cat lover, I’m proud to donate 10% of every sale to Cats Protection – supporting a cause close to my heart.
