Hello, I'm Kim,

Welcome to my cosy craft corner, where every blanket and snuggly treasure is lovingly handcrafted between nap times, quiet evenings and a good cuppa.

I live in beautiful Cornwall with my husband and our little girl, Elowen. As a stay-at-home mum, life is wonderfully busy with little adventures, cuddles and plenty of creativity, finding moments each day to turn soft yarn into cosy keepsakes for little ones.

 

Wool & Bear was born from a love of making beautiful things by hand and inspired by our much-loved cat, Bear. Although he's no longer with us, he'll always be at the heart of this little business. In his memory, 10% of every sale is donated to Cats Protection.

 

My knitting journey began more than 20 years ago when my mum taught me to knit. During the pandemic, I picked up a crochet hook and discovered a whole new creative passion. What started as a hobby has grown into a little business that allows me to create handmade treasures for other families to love.

 

Every blanket, hat and snuggly treasure is thoughtfully handcrafted using beautifully soft yarns, designed to be treasured through first cuddles, family adventures, and quiet bedtime moments. I hope they're the kind of keepsakes that are loved today and passed on tomorrow.

When I'm not stitching, you'll usually find me exploring the Cornish coast with my family, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or dreaming up my next design.
